|Duties:|| Promote, utilize and support quality assurance and quality control processes to improve the quality of deliverable and reduce design errors and omissions thereby resulting in a reduction in claims|
Continually evaluate workload and collaborate with his reporting Manager or Director to insure appropriate staffing is supplied at the right level of expertise to successfully complete each task assignment
Assist in preparation of permits, reports, analysis, calculations, etc as directed by Project Manager
Ability use AutCAD Civil 3D for producing plans or maps
Ability to obtain GIS information and import into AutoCAD Civil 3D
Ability to provide site design and grading for various types of engineering related projects
Ability to communicate with clients, vendors and outside agencies.
Ability to work and collaborate across multiple service groups
Ability to manage time appropriately to ensure that tasks are completed timely, accurately and on budget.
Secondary Job Functions:
Be knowledgeable of current oil and gas regulations in geographic region of responsibilities.
Ability to provide oversight of technical staff and answer technical questions as they arise.
Perform annual reviews of staff and assist in preparation of career development plans
Address any issues from client follow-up surveys, as directed
Disseminate goals and objectives of company to subordinates and promote them
Assist in addressing employee issues through appropriate means as adopted by LDG policies & procedures.
Actively participate in interviews of prospective employees
Actively participate in client development activities, as directed by the Director
|Qualifications:|| MINIMUM EDUCATION Associates degree in related field of study|
DESIRED EDUCATION Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture
MINIMUM SYSTEMS OR PROGRAM NEEDS/EXPERIENCE Advanced level of knowledge with Microsoft Office products, intermediate level of knowledge with Deltek Vision, advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and design software used by self, Intermediate knowledge or ESRI ArcGIS is a plus
MINIMUM EQUIVALENT WORKING EXPERIENCE IN YEARS 1+
DESIRED EQUIVALENT WORKING EXPERIENCE IN YEARS 3+
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Occasional to frequent overnight or extended stays.
Ability to think independently and as part of a Project Team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have excellent knowledge design procedures
